2020 Think Tank

Our annual Genealogy Think Tank will be a hybrid in person/virtual at the Benjamin Hooks Library at 3030 Poplar Avenue, at 10:30 a.m. We will be meeting in Meeting Room A off the main entrance. The topic will be on the challenge of researching Native and African American blended families. We will have guest speakers Linda Crichlow White, president of the AAHGS James Dent Walker chapter in D.C., and Jason Terrell, a genealogist and enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma recently appointed to the Shelby County Historical Commission.
